Ambitious Maraschino presents a screen review every other week. Films and TV series that reflect on consumer culture, contemporary issues, thoughts, and unironic prayers for the future. Analysis of messages that the directors didn't really intend. Yet, must carry on for the plot.
A firm believer in "create what you wish to exist." Maraschino Magazine is the stage I built out of my interest in our consuming lifestyle. I wanted to stir the pot and see how many people would relate to Maraschino's takes. It is a curated space for all voices simply because we all spend and consume. Not here to give you financial advice.
A big motto I took from the 5th grade cafeteria: sharing is caring. Engaging with others leads us to mindful living. Civil disagreements also help. In the most chaotic time we live in, Maraschino wants to add some sprinkles. Dab me up if you wish. I would love to hear about your days, hot takes, hot dates, meals that shouldn't exist, confusion, non-life-threatening concerns, deli orders, favorite films you don't want to tell your local film major, morally questionable work lore, and much more.
